This project was the first ever collaborative textile design project I had worked on. The inspiration derived from a select target market: what would a middle class family with parents in their 30's desire for their contemporary home? We took this target market and began looking at images in order to develop a color palette in which we felt went along with our target market. We looked at images of stained glass, overhead views of cities, and boats in the winter- inspirations we fused together in order to create Seaport Blues.
